Starting at the age of 15 as a washboy and meat packer, he honed his craft through an apprenticeship at the original Franklin Country Meats in Pukekohe. After gaining further experience in Australia and Europe, Charles returned to his roots to purchase the very shop where it all began. Charles is proud to lead a talented team of skilled butchers who are dedicated to delivering top-quality meat to their customers. For the past 9 years, he has been dedicated to growing and developing the business while experimenting with new ideas and staying current with industry trends.
